Requirements:

  • Maintaining reports and records of patients.
  • Counsel patients and families/caregivers on the psychosocial adjustments of hearing loss by building a good rapport.

Hearing Aid Repair Technicians

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification Completed A/L((Biology/Mathematics/commerce) or Diploma in electronic engineering.
  • Male candidates are expected to travel Island wide.
  • Fine motor skills.
  • Logical thinking.
  • With or without experience.
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Assessing patient’s hearing aid needs, instructing on appropriate repair and/or cleaning options, and proceeding with repair action as approved by patients.
  • Order hearing aids and devices as directed by hearing care professionals.
  • Check in repaired devices as they arrive daily.
  • Check in new hearing aids when received.
  • Send out devices for repair.
  • Clean supplies weekly (follow standard protocol for sterilization procedures).
  • Stock rooms with supplies & paperwork weekly.
  • Performs all duties respectful of confidentiality and safety of all patients, employees and providers.
  • Performs office duties and other duties as required.
